Since going keto, I’ve been eating keto gas station snacks. When I travel, I have to bring snacks with me. This is a list of all the best keto snacks I’ve come up with. Start with these, and then when you get bored of them, make up some of your own.

They have many advantages over the standard low fat diet, and I’m always looking to find better options for when I’m on the go or traveling. Many of these foods are in our pantry, refrigerator and freezer, but we are always looking for something new to try.

Allowing your hectic life to get in the way of keto is not a good idea!

On the way, refuel! When it comes to culinary preferences, life goes on. So we’ve put together a list of some of our favorite snacks and dressings, as well as some basic advice. You can now peruse the food aisles at petrol stations while filling up your tank!

Cheese / Sticks of cheese

If you just have a limited amount of refrigerator space, look for loose mozzarella cheeses or other kinds of cheese sticks.

Sausage / hot dogs

If you’re looking for a fast protein boost, a hot dog or sausage without the bread is a good option. However, some of the brands utilized may include carbs that aren’t readily apparent. If you’re unsure, check the nutritional information on the package.

Pepperoni, meat sticks, and beef jerky

People, we’re talking about pure protein here! Dried meat is generally simple to come by and provides the necessary energy. Only use sweet tastes like brown sugar or maple syrup with caution (they add unwanted carbs).

Pork rind

Crispy, crunchy, and salty – everything you need for a salty snack in a hurry. However, you should be aware that there may be pork rind remains on your steering wheel. #wertit

Salad dressing snacks may also include sunflower seeds. However, if you calculate the total carbohydrates and don’t remove the fiber to obtain pure carbs, they should only be consumed in moderation.

Mozzarella sticks covered in spicy prosciutto (we like Volpi brand sticks) are a great (and convenient) road snack.

Do you need a pick-me-up for the day? Have a cup of coffee! Inquire if there is a cream that may help you stay in ketosis by adding fat. Artificial creamy drinks, which often include soy and/or added sugar, should be avoided.

To make up for the absence of caffeine, take a sugar-free drink or a light soda if your diet permits it.

You’ll need to prepare ahead of time, but if you can’t use plain bottled water, have some lemon juice, True Lemon packets, or Stur aroma drops on hand to flavor your bottled water.

2. Snacks are gathered.

Gas station food may be scarce in tiny shops. Bringing your own food saves you time and money while allowing you to spend the day eating the things you like!

3. Take a look at the major tourist attractions.

If at all possible, avoid tiny petrol stations and instead visit larger ones designated as tourist destinations, such as Love. They often offer the greatest snacks, sometimes locally – here are where we discovered some of our favorite keto snacks!
